At CCD Health (A GeBBS Healthcare Company), we champion Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles through concrete actions. Our initiatives include a one-employee-one-tree program, coastal cleanups, and comprehensive employee well-being support with flexible work options. CCD Reforestation Day

In 2024, we were thrilled to reach the goal of planting 3,000 trees at Finca Remberto Estrella, a beautiful place with a rich ecological heritage in the north of the Dominican Republic.

Breast Cancer Awareness

We support the Fundación Tapitas por Quimio, a campaign that collects plastic caps to fund cancer treatments. Additionally, we host "Pedaleando por la Prevención," where CCD donates money for every kilometer pedaled on a stationary bike at our onsite events.

In October, we offer our employees free mammogram and ultrasound screenings, ensuring these essential services are accessible. We also conduct awareness activities across our social media platforms to further educate and engage the community.

Training and Development: CCD University

CCD University is a FREE education and learning environment created to level up employees' knowledge and prepare them for their personal and professional growth.

CCD Wellness Program

The CCD Wellness Program includes bi-monthly visits from therapy dogs to our sites, bringing comfort and support to our employees. We also organize onsite recreational activities, such as mandala coloring sessions and board games, to promote relaxation and team bonding.

We're also associated with Terapify to provide our employees with the most robust mental health care program in the industry. This includes access to professionals in mental health, yoga, meditation and exclusive e-books at no cost. Terapify adapts to individual needs and is available 24/7.

CCD Wellness Day

We host an annual family wellness event to reflect our Wellness Program and share these values with the Dominican public.

CCD Run

The CCD Run is a 3km walk and 5km race held twice a year, once in Santo Domingo and once in Santiago, to promote holistic health and sports as fundamental aspects of well-being.

CCD Video Games Tournament

CCD recently hosted its inaugural video game tournament, drawing over 50 enthusiastic gamers to Plaza Internacional in Santiago de los Caballeros.

Data Privacy and Security

HIPAA stands for Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. It is a federal law that protects the privacy of individuals' health information. HIPAA applies to healthcare providers, insurance companies, and anyone who handles patient information, who is called a business associate.
