CCD Reforestation Day 2024 marked a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability in the Dominican Republic. 

This year, we were thrilled to reach the goal of planting 3,000 trees at Finca Remberto Estrella, a beautiful location with a rich ecological heritage. 

Reforestation is crucial in combating climate change, preserving biodiversity, and restoring natural habitats. 

CCD’s Reforestation Initiatives: how it started

Since its inception, CCD has been dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability through various initiatives. Our reforestation projects will span several years and focus on restoring deforested areas and creating new green spaces. Participants received a welcome packet containing event information, a schedule, and necessary materials.
